My first experience with chiropractic was when I was 17 and hurt myself playing basketball. I went to see my local chiropractor, and within a few adjustments, I felt like I was back to normal. After a few years later and a few more visits; I made the decision to become a chiropractor myself. I knew that I wanted to help others with chiropractic like it had helped me and my family over the years. I completed my training at Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City in September of 2001 and opened my first family practice that November in Grinnell, Iowa. My wife and I continued to practice for 5 years until the opportunity to move to my home area of Fontanelle and Greenfield became available after the birth of our first son. My family has since been blessed with another son and the opportunity to help our communities here in Iowa and in Scotland with chiropractic for 15 years.
Our focus is our practice members, and how we can facilitate improvement in not just their structure health but, in their overall health through eating well, thinking well and moving well. We encourage our members, of all ages, not to just accept what someone dictates for their health to be. We encourage a joint partnership with our members to set reasonable chiropractic and health goals that are achievable and provide positive encouragement whenever needed. Through chiropractic, nerve interference is removed so your body can heal and operate without the excess clutter in the way of health. It is a simple philosophy… but it works…just like it did when I was 17 years old.
